Like the original Proanthozone, the basis of this formula is bioflavanol from grape seed extract. Polyphenolic antioxidants, such as bioflavanol, have been shown to inhibit enzymes that promote histamine release, inflammation, and allergic reactions. Additional antioxidant support comes from vitamins A and E and the mineral zinc. This essential core of ingredients from the original formula has been enhanced with omega fatty acids, alpha-lipoic acid, and spirulina for better skin and coat support.
